Goodison Park will permanently be its new home. Everton women’s team next season.
This weekend, Everton's male squad will bid adieu to their historic home as they prepare to play their final match at the beloved venue ahead of moving to the gleaming new Bramley-Moore Dock stadium for the 2025-26 season.
However, it won’t be farewell for all – as the women’s team plans to make this place their permanent residence. WSL starting from the upcoming season.
The Everton women's team concluded the season in eighth place within the top flight for ladies, and they have been playing at Walton Hall Park—a venue that holds up to 2,200 spectators—since February 2020.
Following a thorough examination of the stadium’s future, the decision to relocate to Goodison Park, which has a capacity of 39,572, was made after The Friedkin Group (TFG) finalized their acquisition of the team in December.
Everton's women’s team captain, Megan Finnigan, stated: "This development reflects the current state of the women’s game and, even more significantly, indicates its future direction."
