Ruben Amorim says Leny Yoro , Diogo Dalot and Matthijs de Ligt 'could potentially be included' in Manchester United’s Europa League final against Tottenham.
All three defenders, along with young center-back Ayden Heaven, did not attend United’s practice today. This was only two days before the upcoming match. the side’s Premier League clash with Chelsea .
Although, Dalot was seen engaged in solitary activities apart from the primary team, with the Portuguese defender eagerly aiming to return to full fitness following a calf injury.
Maybe the biggest worry for United supporters right now is Yoro, who looked near to crying as he hobbled off the field due to an issue with his foot. In Sunday’s match, they lost 2-0 to West Ham.
The promising French player had been in great form, but he had to leave the game in the 52nd minute at Old Trafford and now faces an urgent challenge to regain fitness in time for United’s crucial finale against Tottenham on May 21.

When asked about the status of the four absent defenders at United this afternoon, Amorim responded to the journalists saying, "I am not sure whether they will be able to play."
'We are pushing hard now because these are the last games and they're crucial, you understand. Every player desperately wants to be out there.'

The United team manager almost affirmed that the four players who were hurt wouldn’t be participating in the match at Stamford Bridge this coming Friday.
'I'm unsure. I believe they won't go.' Chelsea ,’ he added.
'However, we might get some of them included in the finale.'

After missing United’s past five games across various competitions, Dalot is “putting in great effort” to regain his spot for the match against Bilbao.
Amorim clarified: 'Dalot is attempting very poorly right now. I am hesitant to use Dalot because once an athlete suffers one injury, a second injury becomes more likely, and that can lead to major issues.'
'We can't afford such issues within our team.'
'We shall see, but he’s putting in a lot of effort to make it into the finals.'

As per Amorim, there is a genuine feeling of eagerness and 'excitement' growing within the team as they look forward to next week's clash in Spain.
'A finale is different. However, this season has been extremely challenging for everyone; with the outcomes and changes in personnel. It’s noticeable,' stated the Portuguese coach.
'We are tackling this issue during the season as we modify our playing style, making the atmosphere quite challenging.'
'However, I assure you that during a match in the Europa League, the atmosphere changes and you can sense the excitement.'

When asked whether the Europa League or Champions League qualification was more significant, Amorim responded: "In my opinion, personally, I believe the Champions League is more crucial for every aspect and to get ready for the following season."
'We are meant to be competing in the Champions League; the Europa League just doesn’t measure up.'
'This is the most effective method to propel us to the summit within a few years.'

Amorim thinks that the bond between his squad and Manchester United’s dedicated supporters could act as a 'turning point' in their match against Tottenham.
“It’s difficult to convey a message because you can observe it each Sunday; they consistently support the team,” he continued.
'I believe we've had nine home losses this season. The supporters consistently back the manager, so I don't have anything further to add.'
'The bond with the fans is truly crucial. It could turn the tide entirely. Our aim is to strengthen this relationship and secure championships.'
As Amorim was addressing the press, Tottenham revealed some of their own injury updates – which could be a significant setback for Ange Postecoglou.
Dejan Kulusevski limped off during Tottenham’s defeat against Crystal Palace over the weekend due to a knee issue, and the Swedish striker appears likely to be sidelined for an extended period.
"We can verify that Dejan Kulusevski sustained an injury to his right patella during our Premier League match against Crystal Palace," stated the official announcement from Tottenham Hotspur.
'After additional consultations with specialists, the midfield player had surgery today and will start his recovery process under our medical team right away. Our support is always with you, Deki.'
