Netflix 's popular action-comedy show FUBAR featuring Arnold Schwarzenegger has returned with an entirely new season filled with exciting mayhem.
The show, which just dropped eight new episodes, follows a father-and-daughter duo, Luke and Emma Brunner, portrayed by The Terminator star and Oscar nominee Monica Barbaro.
Once they find out they both covertly work for the CIA, their dangerous assignments become intertwined with uncomfortable familial relationships.
Following the remarkable performance of the first season in 2023, which dominated streaming charts and garnered an impressive 25.57 million viewing hours within just one week, the green light for a second season was practically guaranteed.
'It's larger, it's improved. There are more jokes. It has an abundance of every element... plus another legendary figure!' Arnold hinted about the new season, mentioning The Matrix star Carrie-Anne Moss, who portrays German spy Greta Nelson, who coincidentally was once involved with Luke.

The second season has been hotly anticipated by fans of the show, who have shared plenty of rave reviews.

‘Time, my dear friends, had no power over me while I was watching Fubar. It vanished like a sneaky ninja, as I was too engrossed in the exciting escapades that unfolded before my eyes.
‘Each episode left me thirsting for more, as the relentless thrill carried seamlessly from one instalment to the next,’ Sabrina Viot wrote on Google reviews.
‘Schwarzenegger may well be the best comic action star who ever graced a movie or TV screen. He carries Fubar like the champion weightlifter he once was, and does so in ways which make all the rest of the cast shine,’ David Aronofsky praised.
Michel Lu also offered plenty of glowing words to Mocia’s performance, calling her a ‘scene stealer’.
‘She not only convincingly portrays a skilled and determined agent but also a complex daughter wrestling with the realities of her unusual family life. Her on-screen chemistry with Schwarzenegger is superb, blending respect, conflict, and love in equal measure,’ they added.

In the second season, viewers will once again see Travis Van Winkle reprising his role as Aldon, along with Fortune Feimster as Roo, Milan Carter as Barry, and Scott Thompson as Dr. Pfeffer, alongside many other recognizable actors.
While this might not appeal to everybody—some enthusiasts have criticized the humor for being hit-or-miss, describing specific parts as 'cheesy' and far-fetched—you should still give it a shot to determine whether it suits your taste.
Discussing what lies ahead for the new season, creator Nick Santora described it as 'crazy' and mentioned that the Brunner family will face 'a myriad of issues they'll need to handle.'
'They are a family, and they understand that the only way they can make it through is by sticking together and functioning as one unit. They must achieve this cooperation; otherwise, the world will cease to be as we recognize it!' Santora emphasized.
Seasons one and two of Fubar can now be streamed on Netflix.
