PLUS Malaysia Bhd (PLUS) has inaugurated three extra lanes at the Rawang Selatan Toll Plaza (Exit 115).
The objective of these new lanes is to enhance traffic movement at the plaza, particularly benefiting drivers en route to Gamuda Gardens and Kundang.
Given that the plaza manages around 29,000 vehicles each day, the additional lane capacity is expected to reduce peak-hour congestion by 14% to 19%.
The positive effects are anticipated for the inhabitants of Gamuda Gardens and nearby regions including Rawang, Kundang, and Sungai Buloh.
Frequent users of the North-South Highway are anticipated to see advantages as well.
This project came to fruition with contributions from the Works Ministry of Malaysia, the Malaysian Highway Authority, the Public Works Department, PLUS, and Gamuda Bhd.
PLUS has reaffirmed its dedication to enhancing its infrastructure and services aligning with its company principles that stress comfort, safety, and sustainability for the people living near its highway system.
