A teenage victim of bullying believed he would never have a true confidant. However, everything changed when he encountered a small dog named Roo, who understands all too well what it feels like to stand out as being somewhat distinct.
Luke Salmon, who is 15 years old and hails from Kent, has faced relentless harassment at school due to his skin condition, psoriasis. This treatment made Luke feel extremely isolated and lacking in self-assurance.
One day, Luke was browsing through dogs When he was online, he stumbled upon an eight-week-old black Labrador mix. Luke observed that the puppy had six legs and immediately felt connected to the little one.
A friend called Roo
The family understood that since the dog came from a breeder, she could potentially be euthanized to free up space for more saleable puppies. They promptly reached out to the breeder and soon enough, the tiny puppy became their new addition.
The family named the puppy Roo as she jumps about on her hind legs similar to a kangaroo. She became part of the family, which included a Jack Russell Terrier , two cats, and French Lop bunnies, and have adjusted quite nicely.

Love at first sight
However, it was Luke with whom Roo developed the closest relationship, and they seldom stray far from one another. Even though she has an additional set of front limbs, this isn’t harmful to Roo and doesn’t cause her any discomfort; she continues to lead a full and joyful existence. She’s simply wonderfully flawed!
Luke's confidence has noticeably improved since Roo arrived. Now, he has a trustworthy friend and doesn't feel like an outsider all the time.
