Abhishek Bachchan, currently preparing for the release of his new film *Kaalidhar Laapata*, often faces public scrutiny and negative reactions over various issues. Recently, he spoke about some valuable guidance his wife, actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, gave him to help cope with such criticism.
In a recent conversation with The Hollywood Reporter India, Abhishek mentioned that he tends to focus more on negative feedback, which often leads him to overthink things.
The actor remarked, "I still aim to please everyone. I continue to take notice of all the critical feedback and anything negative people say. Unfortunately, it's part of human nature to focus more on the negatives rather than positives."
Abhishek later remembered Aishwarya's guidance and remarked, "She used to say, 'It rolls off like water on a duck's back.' Why focus only on what's bad? Pay attention to all the good things because they're far more important."
Abhishek often faces recurring rumors regarding his separation from Aishwarya. In a recent interaction with ETimes, he clarified these speculations, stating that such remarks hurt him deeply.
Abhishek remarked, "These days, such comments really sting. You aren’t living my life, so you can't understand what it’s like to go through all of this. Once you have a family, these matters begin to affect you deeply. Regardless of someone's strength, words leave their mark. Sometimes even when we explain ourselves clearly, people still misinterpret them—because bad news tends to grab more attention."

For those who aren’t familiar, Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai got married in an elaborate wedding held on April 20, 2007. They became parents to their first child, a girl named Aaradhya Bachchan, born on November 16, 2011.
Abhishek will be seen joining hands again with Nimrat Kaur in the forthcoming movie *Kaalidhar Laapata*. The film features Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub playing an important part as well. Helmed by director Madhumita Sundararaman, this project is scheduled to begin airing exclusively on Zee5 starting July 4th.
