Even though Arsenal managed to secure a top-five spot before their final match thanks to their win against Newcastle last week, Manchester United will not qualify for European competitions at all this season.

Amorim's team faces the prospect of recording their poorest showing ever in Premier League history, as they presently occupy the 16th spot in the standings.
Following their loss to Tottenham in Wednesday evening's Europa League final in Bilbao, they might find it difficult to bring in new players for the 2025-26 season.
