AC Milan 's dramatic kit launch may have provided a hint into Kyle Walker 's upcoming developments, as rumors suggest he is poised to make his comeback. Manchester City at the end of the term.
The England defender moved to the Rossoneri in January on loan, ending his seven-and-a-half year stint in Manchester.
His move to Italy occurred amidst family turmoil away from football, as Walker was battling to save his marriage with the mother of his four children. Annie Kilner , after also fathering two kids with his influencer ex-mistress Lauryn Goodman .
Walker hit the ground running in Italy with three unbeaten results from his first three starts. But his form dipped as Milan, who currently sit in ninth in Serie A , struggled domestically and in Europe.
Reports earlier this month claimed that the seven-time European Cup winners had decided against paying the £4.2million fee to keep him permanently. However, following the club's recent kit launch, speculation over Walker's future has begun anew.
The 34-year-old is among the four male stars featured in the striking reveal video of AC Milan’s kit for the 2025-26 season. Walker appears at three distinct moments throughout the 46-second footage and is shown wearing the jersey that will be used by Milan starting next year.

Although clubs generally prefer not to feature players with unclear futures in promotional materials, their inclusion doesn’t ensure they will remain part of the squad.
Notably, Chelsea positioned Eden Hazard at the forefront of their kit unveiling in 2019, mere months prior to his high-profile transfer to Real Madrid.
Earlier this month, according to reports from the Italian source Calciomercato, Tottenham's ex-player's elbow injury, coupled with Alex Jiménez’s strong performances as a right wing-back, are believed to have influenced AC Milan's management not to pursue a permanent transfer.
Jimenez, at only 20 years old, was initially brought in for Milan’s under-23 team, yet he has managed to make 20 appearances in Serie A this season.
Walker mentioned he felt like crying when he departed from City and had earlier confessed that he did not believe his stint at the Etihad was concluded.
"After I bid everyone farewell, Pep [Guardiola] stood up and delivered a very heartfelt message to me, simply expressing gratitude for all that I've done," Walker mentioned in his BBC podcast.
But hey, it’s not done yet. I’m only temporarily here. This means I have to keep in mind that I might return. Clearly, both sides must reach an understanding by the end of the season. So, this chapter isn’t entirely finished; let’s wait and see how things turn out.
The player who won three titles aimed to depart from the Etihad Stadium due to reduced playing opportunities, worried about how this might affect his national team prospects. Walker was part of England's lineup for both matches managed by Thomas Tuchel during the March World Cup qualifiers.
