
It has been 15 years since Oasis last took the stage for a live performance, following their dramatic breakup in 2009 due to an altercation that occurred behind-the-scenes.
However, Don’t Wipe Away Your Tears – as Liam and Noel Gallagher are getting back together, with Cardiff being the inaugural stop on their eagerly awaited reunion tour.
The initial two evenings of the 41-concert tour will take place at the Principality Stadium on Friday, July 4th, and Saturday, July 5th.

What makes the Oasis reunion so significant?

Many would argue that the Gallagher brothers have served as a pivotal soundtrack for their lives since Oasis released their debut album, "Definitely Maybe," in August 1994.
The group's final studio album, "Dig Out Your Soul," was issued in October 2008, shortly before everything abruptly ended in 2009 after an altercation occurred backstage at the Rock en Seine festival in Paris.
The band Oasis disbanded, leading to years of public arguments between Noel and Liam Gallagher. However, last August, the siblings declared their intention to reunite.

What are the opening acts for Oasis?
The backing for Oasis is doubled with support from Richard Ashcroft, lead singer of The Verve, along with Cast, a Britpop band hailing from Liverpool.
Audiences will likely hope for Ashcroft to perform some of his most renowned tracks from his time with The Verve, such as "BitterSweet Symphony," "The Drugs Don’t Work," and "Lucky Man," along with several others.
As stated by the Oasis Fans Club, the link between Ashcroft and the Gallaghers dates back many years since the band backed The Verve in 1993 when they were just starting out.
More recently, Ashcroft appeared alongside Liam on stage at Finsbury Park in 2018, and the duo worked together once more in 2022.

John Power, lead singer of the 1990s alternative rock band Cast, who gained prominence during the Britpop movement Additionally, it shares a significant history with Oasis.

At what time do the concerts at Cardiff Oasis begin?
The gates of the Principality Stadium will open at 5:00 PM BST.
Although the scheduled times for the events in Cardiff have not been officially announced yet, Wembley Stadium has posted approximate times for the concert dates on their official website. .
This indicates that the supporting acts will start around 18:00 BST, followed by Oasis going onstage at roughly 20:15.
Will the roof at the Principality Stadium be shut?

The roof of the Principality Stadium will be closed for both of the Oasis concert performances.
Are tickets still accessible for Oasis?

Although the performances are officially sold out, the band stated on June 25th that additional tickets might be made available.
The band mentioned in an Instagram post that promoters might manage to release a small number of extra tickets.

The Cardiff council mentioned that parking for the event will be provided at Sophia Gardens and the civic center.
The local council has initiated a park and ride facility at the Sports Village in Cardiff Bay, which will be available starting from 09:00.
Transport for Wales mentioned that additional capacity would be provided on trains entering and exiting Cardiff whenever feasible, but cautioned that railway services throughout South Wales were expected to be extremely crowded.
GWR mentioned it would run six additional trains from Cardiff.

How is the weather expected to be?

Following their start with two performances in Cardiff, Oasis will then move to Manchester for five consecutive nights at Heaton Park on dates 11, 12, 16, 19, and 20 of July.
