Samsung M36 5G Expected to Launch Under ₹20,000: Reports Suggest

Samsung has announced the upcoming release of the Galaxy M36 5G in India. Although an exact launch date hasn’t been disclosed, the device should hit shelves around late June or early July.

The phone has been previewed on Amazon. As per several media reports, the Galaxy M36 5G is anticipated to have a price tag under Rs 20,000. The device it follows, the M35 5G, starts at an introductory price of Rs 19,999.

As per Gadgets 360 Previously, the device appeared on Geekbench with the model number SM-M366B. According to the listing, the Galaxy M36 5G is driven by an Exynos 1380 System-on-Chip. This handset operates on Android 15 with the One UI 7 interface.

Based on the benchmark outcomes, it achieved a score of 1,004 in the single-core test and 2,886 in the multi-core test. This suggests solid performance for a device in the middle tier.

It is anticipated to feature at least 6GB of RAM along with an ARM Mali G68 graphics processing unit. The device’s promotional video highlights its artificial intelligence features. The trailer displays the smartphone equipped with a vertical tri-camera setup.

Gadgets 360 Notes indicate that as the Galaxy M35 shared similarities with the Galaxy A35 5G, it’s possible that the Galaxy M36 5G might feature specs comparable to those of the Galaxy A36 5G.

However, the Galaxy A36 5G runs on a Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 SoC. It comes with a 6.7-inch full-HD+ Super AMOLED screen with a 120 Hz refresh rate. It has a 50 MP primary sensor, an 8 MP ultrawide lens and a 5 MP macro camera. On the front, it features a 12 MP camera. It has a 5,000 mAh battery with 45 W wired charging support.

Mashable India observes that despite using the same chipset as the M35, the M36 is expected to provide enhanced AI performance. Additionally, the publication suggests that the Galaxy F36 5G might debut alongside or soon after the release of the M36.
