Chahatt Khanna is a popular figure in the TV world. Among her notable performances was in Ram Kapoor’s show *Bade Achhe Lagte Hain*, which brought her widespread fame. Besides her professional achievements, she often makes headlines due to her personal affairs. The actress has tied the knot twice, though neither relationship lasted. Recently, Chahatt opened up about ending her second marriage. She explained that leaving the relationship was a decision made keeping her daughters' best interests in mind. From her second wedding to Farhan Mirza, she has two daughters.
In an exclusive interview with *The Free Press Journal*, she shared, "I've simply followed what I believed was correct and stayed true to that belief. I’ve consistently found the strength to speak against things that feel off—to me, if something isn't right, I refuse to take part myself, nor would I allow others around me to go down that path. Regardless of public opinion, standing firm against injustice has always been important to me. It’s essential to carry yourself with such conviction—not merely because one is female, but also as a basic trait expected from every person. My stance remains clear: If anything feels amiss, then stepping back becomes necessary—even though figuring everything post-decision can get tricky later; leaving still comes first naturally due to this bold nature within me. One mustn't remain trapped inside harmful relationships under false pretenses like safeguarding children since these situations deeply impact young minds far beyond visible signs today—only evident years ahead once grown-up offspring reveal past struggles via conversations among peers'. That realization prompted my choice ultimately benefitting both us mothers & our little girls.'
Chahatt further shared that her older child resides with her former husband but remains very close to her, whereas she looks after her younger daughter personally.
Over the years, Chahatt has established herself as a prominent figure in the entertainment industry. Starting her television journey with *Hero: Bhakti Hi Shakti Hai*, she went on to feature in well-known shows such as *Kumkum – Ek Pyara Sa Bandhan*, *Kaajjal*, and *Qubool Hai*. The character of Ayesha Sharma Kapoor in *Bade Achhe Lagte Hain* marked her big break. On the film front, she’s appeared in movies including *Thank You*, *7½ Phere: More Than a Wedding*, *Prassthanam*, and most recently starred in *Yaatris* released in 2023.
