The impact of losing Partey will partly be cushioned by signing of Martin Zubimendi from Real Sociedad , who was likely influenced by their upcoming arrival in his ultimate choice.
When asked about Zubimendi potentially joining soon, he said to 3 Sports: "The main thing is where you're content and where you feel at ease. After all, you've spent time in football, moving between various teams."

'So, it's about identifying your upcoming goal—what you aim to accomplish next. Regardless of everything else, we must remember that each of us has a family relying on us for financial support; this is something we should keep in mind.'
'We aren't getting any younger. Many aspects require consideration when you start thinking about having a family, wanting them to be content. Out there, no one will protect your family; these are matters you must address. In your youth, such concerns seem less pressing.'
'I support Arsenal, so I cannot make decisions and must leave everything to my agent and the club. For me, the priority is simply enjoying the game.'
Last season, Partey seemingly put an end to his recurring injury problems and delivered what could be considered his finest campaign with Arsenal so far.

'I believe they will comment on my availability since I remained accessible for the entire season, so naturally, they would mention that,' he said when questioned if he thought he was performing at the peak of his career.
'In every instant, each year, or during every period of training there, I believe I've performed at my peak because I lose track of the number of matches where I didn't give it my all.'
'Occasionally things might not work out, but for each game, I put in my maximum effort and strive to do my best. I find joy within myself, regardless of whether I get injured or not from year to year; I believe I've given it my all.'
